What to see at Hutton-in-the-Forest
Visit Lord and Lady Inglewood's ancient family home, it is a glorious mixture of architectural and decorative styles, unlike any other house in the world!
400 years of changing styles have contributed to the charm of Hutton-in-the-Forest. Wander through the contemporary gates that lead to the Walled Garden, which is the highlight of the extensive and varied grounds that give Hutton its magnificent setting.
Brimming with vibrant flowers and colours, the garden features herbaceous plants, heritage roses, and meticulously trained fruit trees. Topiary terraces offer views of the wildflower meadow, cascading water features, and a serene lake, while the Woodland Walk unveils a charming 17th-century dovecote.
Your visit helps people in crisis
The Red Cross helps people in the UK and across the world get the support they need in an emergency. With Open Gardens, you'll be raising funds for this important work.
