The Edinburgh Marathon Festival course is the UK's flattest and fastest marathon, allowing you to smash your PB
The stunning route takes runners past some of Edinburgh's most iconic landmarks before ending in Musselburgh where you can enjoy amazing sea views
Along the route you will pass DJs, bands and supporters who will cheer you on all the way to the finishing line.
You’ll be supporting our vital work helping people in crisis in the UK and overseas.

Where is Edinburgh Marathon Festival?

The Edinburgh Marathon starts at Potterrow. The route then heads into the heart of the city before leading eastwards out towards the finish line on the Musselburgh coast.

Already got a place for the Edinburgh Running Festival?

If you already have a place at the event, you can still be part of Team Red Cross. You’ll receive the same support as other team members but won’t have a fundraising target to reach – just raise as much as you can.
