Unpacking and packing your wheelchair

PLEASE KEEP YOUR BOX

You will need to use the same box provided for delivery of the wheelchair when arranging the collection of the wheelchair so please keep this in a safe place.

Unpacking your wheelchair

Follow these instructions to unpack your wheelchair:

• remove label and open box
• remove wheelchair and cushion (if applicable)
• roll wheelchair out of box If using footplates leg rest or a stump board remove these from the folded seat section
• unfold the wheelchair (please refer to wheelchair guide and videos on our website for further assistance)
• move the backrest to upright position
• attach footplates or stump board (if required)

Packing your wheelchair

Please follow these instructions to pack your wheelchair:

• ensure that footplates leg rest or stump board and cushion are removed from wheelchair (where applicable)
• place the backrest in the lower position
• fold the wheelchair by pulling up the seat section (please refer to wheelchair guide and videos on our website for further assistance) If applicable, place the footplates or stump board into the folded seat section
• roll chair into opened box If applicable, place wheelchair cushion into void space within the box
• close the box ensuring tab insert is fitted correctly 
• place label (provided inside box when delivered) securely over tab section
