Help with homelessness

If you have nowhere to live, or are at risk of losing your home, you should contact your local council as soon as possible. They will advise you about what help you are entitled to. You can also find help from the following websites:

Homes for Ukraine visa holders – Council Tax discount in England

If you move from sponsored accommodation to privately rented housing or your own home, you will need to pay Council Tax. If you and everyone else in your household have visas under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, you may be entitled to 50% of the total Council Tax.

However, once you transition to a Ukraine Permission Extension visa, you will no longer be eligible for the discount.

You can also contact British Red Cross Refugee Support in your area.
