Our local presidents, vice presidents and patrons
Volunteer presidents, vice presidents and patrons in counties across the UK promote British Red Cross services in their local communities.
For more than 100 years, volunteer presidents, vice presidents and patrons have been championing the British Red Cross in their local areas.
Passionate about supporting the British Red Cross and its aims, our volunteer presidents, vice presidents and patrons are ambassadors for the organisation. They help us by:
- raising money
- promoting our work and our campaigns
- securing media coverage
- introducing us to key people in their networks.
Leading local support
Our volunteer presidents, vice presidents and patrons across the UK take a lead role in promoting Red Cross services in their local communities. They regularly host events that raise funds and awareness to help people in crisis.
We are very grateful for the continued kindness of our presidents, vice presidents and patrons, and proud to have such a committed group of supporters.
