Which type of wheelchair do you need?

One I can push myself (self-propelled)

You must be able to stay in an upright position and have enough strength in both arms to push yourselves. If you have heart problems, difficulty breathing, low or no vision, or suffer from seizures or blackouts a self-propelled wheelchair is not suitable.

One someone else can push (transit)

Your measurements

In order to provide a match to the most suitable wheelchair we need to know information about the person who will be using the wheelchair, tell us their:

Weight

Seat Size - The seat size is the width of the wheelchair seat. Measure the wheelchair user at their widest point (usually hips and thighs) and add 1” / 2.5cm to make sure they will be comfortable.

I can confirm the person using the wheelchair is over 5 years of age
